Job Overview

We are hiring for a Network Security Engineer to work closely with our clients on safeguarding network infrastructures. The role involves implementing, managing, and enhancing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems, contributing to a secure IT environment by preventing unauthorized access, mitigating threats, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring the security and integrity of network infrastructure.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network security measures to protect data and systems.
• Monitoring network activity to identify and respond to security breaches, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Configuring and managing Routers, Switching, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to strengthen the network's defenses.
• Updating and patching network security systems to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of systems and software.
• Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Preparing technical documentation and reports on security operations and incidents.
• Staying informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in network security.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and/ or any certificate from Vendor HPE (Routing/Switching) will be considered as an advantage.
• Proven experience in network security engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in network security tools and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, etc.).
• Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools, will be considered as an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
