Job Overview
As a Cybersecurity Penetration Tester of the Business Consulting Services (BCS) Unit, you will be responsible for the delivery of Cybersecurity penetration testing services. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in safeguarding their business operations. As part of our Team, you will have the opportunity to understand client needs, apply our comprehensive suite of services, and deliver high-quality results to engagements. Moreover, since Cybersecurity is a continuously evolving field, you should be able to adapt to and adopt new tactics, techniques and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting advanced penetration testing engagements for customers operating in different industry sectors, where Cybersecurity is a crucial function, covering both internal, external and red teaming engagements.
- Simulating security breaches to assess the response mechanism and providing recommendations for the enhancement of the incident response mechanism.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of client systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Providing support in conducting risk assessments using best industry’s practices and security standards and analysing IT operations, systems and applications to suggest measures for improvement.
- Performing the day-to-day activities of managing client projects.
- Working with internal Teams for the design of advanced cybersecurity protection mechanisms, by sharing cybersecurity expertise and knowledge.
- Presenting observations, risks and recommendations to senior management and other relevant parties.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends, emerging technologies, and evolving threats in the cybersecurity landscape to provide informed recommendations and guidance.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert insights and recommendations to enhance their overall cybersecurity posture.
- Developing and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and training materials to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients.
- Supporting business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal development, and showcasing our cybersecurity capabilities to potential clients.
Skills & Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field of Information Security as Penetration Tester or other related roles.
- Degree (BSc and/or MSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Security.
- Penetration Testing certification (e.g., OCSP, OSCE, etc.) will be considered an advantage.
- Organizational and technical knowledge in the area of cybersecurity including experience in applying relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) would be considered an advantage.
- Other preferred qualities include a passion for consulting work, teaming, focus, commitment and a fast learner.
- Technical background on the implementation/ assessment of security controls.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing cybersecurity landscape.
- Excellent Greek and English written and verbal skills.
