Job Overview

The Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible to oversee the financial operations of the Middle Eastern and African / MEA geographic area within the organization.

The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Dubai, UAE.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing financial strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and making recommendations to drive financial performance in the region.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing financial information to internal stakeholders, management, and external parties such as auditors or regulatory authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance with regional financial regulations and laws, including tax requirements, and coordinating audits with external auditors.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and processes to mitigate risks, safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Supervising and providing guidance to finance Teams within the region, including controllers, accountants, and financial analysts.
  • Collaborating with regional business leaders and other departments to align financial strategies with operational goals, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making, strategic planning, and resource allocation within the region.
  • Assessing potential financial implications within the region, conducting due diligence, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or other related fields.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or other related fields.
  • Over 5 years of experience in similar financial leadership position.
  • High level of integrity and reliability is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with all stakeholders.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
