Project Manager Civil Engineer - Logicom Public - Nicosia, Cyprus

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Civil Engineer to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

An excellent Project Manager Civil Engineer must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring adherence to all quality, health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the assigned construction project(s) from initiation to completion.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Coordinating and overseeing subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Communicating effectively with all major stakeholders, Team members, to ensure clear understanding of project goals and requirements.
  • Ensuring all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Tracking and reporting project progress to major stakeholders, providing timely updates on milestones, risks, and changes. Also making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Collaborating with the Contractor to ensure successful project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover of completed facilities.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to project Team members.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Quality, Health and Safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, methods, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality.

Remuneration:

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
