Health, Safety and Maintenance Officer - Logicom Public - Nicosia, Cyprus

Job Overview
We are hiring for a Health, Safety and Maintenance Officer to ensure a safe working environment and manage the upkeep of facilities and equipment by adhering to health and safety regulations and performing maintenance tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducting workplace inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Developing and implementing health and safety policies and training programs.
• Investigating accidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintaining safety records and emergency response procedures.
• Overseeing routine maintenance and repairing facilities and equipment.
• Developing a preventive maintenance schedule and tracking completion.
• Coordinating with external contractors as needed.
• Ensuring minimal operational disruptions due to maintenance issues.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Business, Technology, Engineering will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in health and safety, facility management, or maintenance.
• Relevant certifications in health and safety or maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO) and building systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to occasionally work after-hours for emergencies.
