Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic HR Officer to join our Team in Bucharest, Romania. As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in handling the Romania office’s HR matters and supporting the Regional HR Manager who oversees operations across Romania, Italy, and Greece. You will be actively involved in various HR functions with a primary focus on recruitment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Managing job postings on various platforms.
  • Reviewing resumes, conducting screenings, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Maintaining and updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Supporting with reference checks and preparing job offers when needed.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of job offers, employment contracts and relevant documentation for Romania.
  • Preparing, reviewing and updating addendums, employee personal HR folders and other relevant documents, for Romania.
  • Conducting induction sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of HR-related documents.
  • Ensuring and consulting on compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.
  • Assisting in the resolution of employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of training programs, workshops and other corporate events.
  • Assisting the Regional HR Manager and the local Management Team with various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Providing support in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Supporting with Payroll administration for the Romanian operations (payroll preparation, issuing of different documents for employees, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in HRM will be considered an advantage.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR role, with hands-on experience in recruitment.
  • Familiarity with Romanian labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
  • Knowledge of English language at a professional level both verbally and in writing is required.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
