Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible to build & maintain relationships with Cisco partners and drive sustained growth for our Cisco business in Romania. He/she must possess a unique blend of business and technical practical understanding; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Channel Development such as identifying suitable channel partners per product & service, supplying enablement services to channel and growing the units channel partner by numbers & revenue.
- Establishing and maintaining account plans to promote sales growth.
- Establishing relationship with partners at all organization levels including senior executives.
- Recruiting and developing business relationship with new partners
- Sharing feedback to planning, executing and managing promotional activities to drive on significant sales growth.
- Full engagement with Cisco Partners business managers’ team.
- Achieving assigned quota for Cisco products and services.
- Liaising with vendor and partner sales team to effectively manage and close deals.
- Providing accurate sales forecast.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's business degree or relevant.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience as an Account Manager, Channel Manager, Channel Business Development Manager, or Distribution Account Manager would be considered an advantage.
- Understanding of Partner business models, relationship building and capturing partner mindshare.
- Experience selling and supporting as-a-service consumptions models with both hardware & software solutions.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to channel partners across the country.
- Adept at delivering “one to many” sales enablement presentations (live and virtually).
- A self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and able to manage multiple competing priorities with various internal & external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build viable solutions using creativity and innovation. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Must be able to travel within the country.
