Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to contribute to forming and defining Logicom’s Cloud market offerings, managing innovative solutions, and driving the overall strategy, to effect continued and sustained growth for the Logicom Cloud business in Romania. He/she must possess a unique blend of business and technical practical understanding, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Spending time in the market to understand resellers and their challenges and helping find innovative solutions to compete with the broader market.
- Spending time with the partners to identify market opportunities.
- Driving closure of large and strategic deals.
- Assisting in writing product-marketing plans with key events and activities to achieve sales demand creation.
- Supporting the reseller sales channel and key customers by understanding the commercial rationale, key features, business rules and high-level operating functionality.
- Contributing to Product Planning such as Market Research and Intelligence, events, analysis of business and technology requirements and processes and input to product marketing and press releases.
- Preparing sales performance reports for budgeting.
- Monitoring daily sales reports, gross profit from daily sales and contribution reports.
- Measuring profitability and return metrics of Cloud products.
- Channel Development such as identifying suitable channel partners per product and service, supplying enablement services to channel and growing the units channel partner by numbers and revenue.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's business degree or relevant.
- 3-5 years’ experience in IT distribution, sales skills.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching products and services.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Skills in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Ability to perform market opportunity analysis for size, profitability, competitor analysis.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Must be able to travel locally.
- Advanced skills in using Cloud Office Software.
