Job Overview

The Account Manager is mainly responsible for establishing and maintaining HPE servers and storage account plans to promote sales growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing sales activities of storage products of the brand HPE.
  • Meeting major customers on regular intervals and promote IT technologies.
  • Developing relationship with key stakeholders within the vendor.
  • Approaching and building C-level relationship with partner.
  • Negotiating at local vendor level additional incentive/ promotion funds.
  • Tracking and ensuring rebate claims are processed and received.
  • Tracking and claiming any other additional funds offered by the vendor.
  • Preparing and submitting relevant reports to the Management Team.
  • Continuously maintaining a view on the product updates and roadmap to ensure expected level of product knowledge and product accreditations.
  • Delivering the revenue forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Interacting very closely and on a daily basis with the accounts to ensure they are ready and well enabled to promote and sell the storage products.
  • Generating, tracking and reporting sales proposals and leads. Follow up on projects and close deals.
  • Developing the core positioning and messaging for the products.
  • Performing product demos and product presentations to customers together with the assistance of the Presales Specialist.
  • Delivering presentations about servers and storage HPE technology to specific events, fairs, etc.
  • Maintaining and ensuring that each sales cycle is closed with ensuring receipt of payments and maintain the average DSO as per company guidelines.
  • Ensuring to maintain the minimum breadth that is required by the company’s guidelines and policies.
  • Completing ownership of the local stocking and will need to ensure that the local subsidiary orders and maintains a healthy level of stocks by clear forecasts from customers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of Servers/ Storage Product Management or Storage Solution Selling experience within the IT technology.
  • University Graduate in Business Management, Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi’s distribution market & IT Products.
  • Ability to build strong trusting relations with customers/partners and other associates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with great attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and with other internal Teams.
  • A record of accomplishment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing and often conflicting priorities.
  • An understanding of HPE's products and services will be considered an advantage.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
