Job Overview

The Presales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with a customer’s business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training & enablement. Having wide-ranging field sales engineering experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing presales technical support of the sales process across the Products and Solutions.
  • Cooperating with the sales teams in assessing potential application of the products to meet customer’s business needs.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely, at customer locations or other suitable facilities on the products value proposition.
  • Building complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
  • Leveraging product knowledge to provide technical expertise to internal sales teams, partners and end users.
  • Developing customer requirements that map solutions, assisting with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals.
  • Leveraging the consultative sales process to prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
  • Working on issues that impact design/ selling success or addressing future concepts, products, or technologies.
  • Creating formal networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
  • Serving as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the brand’s vision and associated technologies.
  • Advising and delivering appropriate partner training & enablement sessions for Partners.
  • Maintaining skills and certifications relevant to the brand and the professional development.
  • Staying current with the brand’s new & competitive technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or related Engineering subject.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience as Pre-Sales Engineer.
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal & written).
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills and in workshop driven sessions.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to multitask and to set priorities under pressure.
  • Client-focused attitude and a team player.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.

We process the above data as part of the preparation to enter into a legal agreement.
