Job Overview

The Cloud Business Unit Manager (Cloud BUM) is responsible for the sales and profitability execution and growth according to budget, partner recruitment, customer acquisition and other metrics agreed with Microsoft.  The Cloud BUM clearly articulates Logicom’s value proposition and competitive advantage between internal teams and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the business unit in Saudi Arabia including the profitability, product management, budgeting, and business unit sales operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing and owning the planning and execution of Logicom’s and Vendor’s strategies and objectives.
  • Managing and owning the overall revenue and GP budgets of the Microsoft business.
  • Ensuring both the internal and Vendor’s Channel reach objectives are consistently met.
  • Managing assigned metrics.
  • Overseeing the trade receivables KPI and ensuring the company’s best interest is always prioritized.
  • Overseeing the execution of the Vendor’s channel development and demand generation plan and strategy.
  • Maintaining and overseeing the relationship with the key strategic Partners.
  • Driving and overseeing the periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly) planning session with the relevant Vendor’s stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of the marketing plans and strategies.
  • Ensuring both internal and the Vendor’s Compliance and Governance policies and guidelines are always adhered to.
  • Planning and aiming to maintain a leading market share position within the respective distribution landscape.
  • Ensuring the Company/ Team meet the technical qualifications (including all applicable certificates) set by the Vendor, as and when applicable.
  • Delivering periodic reporting on the brands’ performance both internally and to vendors as and when requested.
  • Maintaining an optimal strategic relationship with the Vendor’s Key stakeholders at all times.
  • Designing the annual sales plan for the division in cooperation with the General Manager.
  • Mapping and assessing opportunities.
  • Replicating best practices between product Teams.
  • Handling, managing, and following up on the sales pipeline of the unit.
  • Managing and motivating the sales Teams, aiming to achieve their budgeted sales volumes and revenues.
  • Reviewing and evaluating the performance of the Teams (PMs, AMs and Telesales) based on set KPIs.
  • Strengthening the relationship with the key decision makers of major accounts.
  • Supporting in profiling and selecting the right channel partners.
  • Planning and executing the technology/ product cross-selling strategy within the unit.
  • Maintaining full ownership of the pipeline and ensuring it is always validated and up to date.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Business from an accredited university.
  • Experience in the Gulf market is mandatory for this role.
  • Over 5 years of sales management experience with a proven record of accomplishment preferably in a technology distribution environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully interface with senior management and vendors.
  • Must be self-directed and a highly motivated individual, able to accelerate sales.
  • The capacity to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and managing people skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage sales and operating budgets.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer.
