Account Manager, IBM Software - Logicom Distribution - Amman, Jordan

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a professional to assume the role of Account Manager for IBM Software products and solutions. The position is based in Amman, Jordan.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Representing the owner of IBM business across Jordan.
  • Engaging in Full Sales Process, from handling RFP/RFI responses to meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on acquiring new business and expanding existing business partners accounts.
  • Aiming to achieve the budgeted sales volumes and revenues of the company on the country’s level as well the vendor’s sales targets.
  • Managing the relationship with the Vendor for the initiatives of the Services business.
  • Liaising with other involved Teams to ensure that the quarterly sales targets are met and ensure business development is executed.
  • Managing and growing the business relationship with active Partners and enabling/ training new Partners in IBM Software products/ solutions.
  • Evaluating and analysing channel sales data and developing a plan of attack by profiling and selecting the right regional channel partners to position IBM Software products/ solutions.
  • Identifying target markets, developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies around the initiatives of Services business in collaboration with IBM.
  • Attending and leading IBM and Logicom partner events and initiatives.
  • Presenting IBM’s and Internal QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and the sales results, justifying any deviations from the plans, planning the action required to reduce the gaps.
  • Training and supporting the Logicom IBM Team on new tools, materials and updates from IBM.
  • Analysing and reporting quarter and annual business results by monitoring specific performance KPIs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Marketing or equivalent (preferably in Sales or Marketing, technical background is a plus).
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in IT industry software Sales.
  • Good knowledge of Data & AI, Sustainability and Automation and relevant software solutions.
  • Vendor-related software/ industry certification will be considered favourably.
  • MS Windows applications literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to travel.

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
