Business Development Manager, Dell - Logicom Distribution - Athens, Greece

Job Overview

The Business Development Manager will have overall responsibility for enabling the sales of Dell related products and services in Greece. Responsibilities include building a long-term sustainable go to market plan and sales plan. This may also include a significant number of high volume, short cycle style transactions. The successful candidate will also oversee the development and closure of all Dell led deals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accelerating the adoption of Dell products and services.
  • Supporting defined accounts in their partnership journey with Dell.
  • Developing long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders of the customer organization.
  • Collaborating with Dell resources to support customer interests.
  • Delivering Dell value proposition to clients.
  • Profitably delivering Dell solutions and products to clients against revenue sales and margin contribution targets for the Greek national market.
  • Staying current in both technology and business innovations.
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, sales and marketing tactics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or relevant experience.
  • Sales or pre-sales experience in B2B environments, in a solution-selling / technology-related environment.
  • Proven track record of growth and quota achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language and in English.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
  • Relevant selling experience will be considered an advantage.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
