Job Overview

MN Larnaca Water Co is currently looking for an Electrical Technician.

The successful candidate will undergo on the job training and have the following duties and responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance of Low Voltage electrical/ electronic equipment such as small motors/ pumps, electric actuators/ instruments, sensors etc.
  • Installing and configuring of new electrical/ instrument equipment.
  • Reading basic electric diagrams and equipment manuals and following instructions for fault-finding and repairs.
  • Working as part of the maintenance Team and carrying out duties as requested by the Maintenance Foreman/Supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Electrical/ Electronics.
  • Experience working in a similar industrial environment, preferably in production/process or chemical industries.
  • Hands-on/practical skills.
  • Be able to work with multi skilled technical teams.
  • Have analytical skills and be able to take fast decisions.
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant.
  • ETEK and EMS license holders will be preferred.

Reports to

The Electrical/ Instrument Engineer Supervisor.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer.
